Jill's Baby Shower

My first escape from the family on my own - it certainly did not feel like I packed enough and many times I was wishing for the sanitizer or wipes from the diaper bag that I left at home. Jill's baby shower in Atlanta was wonderful and surreal - could my baby sister really be having a baby? She's happily nesting and Greg is happily putting things together and using his drill will great precision (i had no idea). I got back to Wichita just in time for Giya to keep me up all night throwing up, wasn't that nice of her to save that just for me?

Happy Babies - Blowing Bubbles

My two happy babies (now on enzymes and good eatin') having fun outside at Grammie and Granpa's blowing and chasing bubbles.

Giya's Potty Training

I kid you not - all on her own about 3 weeks ago, Giya started asking to go to potty. There have been very few days since then that anyone has had to change a poopy diaper. She prefers to hang out and emulate her brother by reading every book in the bathroom while accomplishing her tasks.

My LIttle Cowgirl

Giya also enjoyed the Grammie hat box time - she quickly found the Mickey Mouse ears and so we had to sing the song over and over again. She also loved an incredibly worn out and somewhat frightening gorilla mask that I won't show you a picture of to cut down on your nightmares.

My Little Cowboy

Grammie in Garden City found an old box of hats in the basement for the kids to play dress-up. It lasted for hours. Asher especially liked wearing the beret and being an artist (mom was proud) and wearing his Uncle Brad's old football helmet.

My First Blog

The start of a new era. I've now conquered this year - my ipod, blogging and travelling without kids for the first time. Maybe if I get this licked, I'll get that new cellphone with the fancy gadgets to keep me organized.....a girl can wish.
